The Troubles In That Man’s Heart
A true spiritual cultivator practices the Dharma in every moment. That is to say, in his every move, when he is standing or sitting, when he is asleep or awake, when he is having his food and drinks, even including his lavatory visits and shower, this practitioner is always living and actualizing the Dharma. This cultivation of perseverance and diligence would gradually give rise to a meditative stillness, and it is in utter stillness that the practitioner naturally receives messages from the Universe.
How should you handle the relentless amount of obstacles?
During one of my meditation practice, a man appeared in my vision. And approximately 1.5 hours later, this man rang my phone. Fact is, this man has committed various sins in his previous lives, and the current one. Right from the first day of our meeting, I have already begun to bestow blessings upon him, and imparted the Dharma to him in hope that he would strive hard in his spiritual practice. After all, he is the only person that can atone for what he had done previously.
He phoned me on two separate occasions, and each time, I had already knew beforehand what he was going to ask of me. Being a student of the Dharma, I practice compassion and tried every way and mean to help him eradicate the obstacles he had placed in his own path. However, no matter how much I tried to intervene, he still faced an unrelenting emergence of obstacles in his path. I refused to give up, and bestowed to him two more Dharma practices, and sincerely wished that he would learn his lessons, and never set himself up in negative situations again.
The troubles in that man’s heart may very well be the same as those bothering you right now. Remember, whenever there’s a cause, there will be a consequence. The Bodhisattvas are wary of the cause, while the ignorant sentient beings fear the consequence.
Only true and sincere repentance can save you from karmic retribution.
