今年春節初三，賜吉祥賜福餐會後，有一男一女同聲異口的響吾表態，想跟吾學佛。男女同樣「青春逼人」，同樣從網路上慕名而來。她他們倆有兩點些許不同之處，「示現」於吾的是；她他們倆年齡相差僅一歲、女的信用似乎比男的來得好。是這樣的，那天當她他們響吾表態，想跟吾學佛時，吾就請她他們各自回去，找出她他們每個星期中，最空閒的一天，然後再知會吾。約一個多星期後，只有那位女生致電於吾，那位男生早已可備案為「失蹤人口」。哈……！
心智不成熟的行爲（一）
吾，玳瑚師父，虔心誠意頂禮感謝，新加坡四馬路觀音堂的主尊，南無大準提佛母。雖說那位女生較有信用，可是她卻是一位「心智未成熟」的女生。她說其母告訴她，四馬路觀音堂的籤很靈，恰逢其母欲到那裡參拜，她也就隨同母親一行，同時也為自己想跟玳瑚師父學佛一事，請示南無大準提佛母。她所求得的籤，竟是上上籤。
能得南無大準提佛母的認可，無比榮幸也。但，吾卻沒半點愉悅。道理其實很簡單，學佛本是一切生命的終極目標，難道她將來考驗不過，欲離開自己的師父時，也跑去向佛菩薩神明求籤不可？這就是「心智不成熟」及「心靈與肉體」無法協調的行為，將來必破戒，也必犯下叛師的重罪啊！吾不但無半點愉悅，且還為她感到恐慌。因此，吾輕聲的叫她，暫且把拜師一事放旁邊。
心智不成熟的行爲（二）
去年的下半年，有個女人（指成熟女子），買了茶具致電於吾，說要向吾拜師學佛，吾聽後也是慌恐。吾認識她已三年多，給她的時間也夠多的。依她的八字告訴他，應穿的，應吃的，應喝的…，她都沒完全照做，每次「敞開大門」接見她，她總是沒把吾給於她的寶貴及免費教學筆錄下來。其實，最嚴重的是，勿一而再，再而三的戲弄修行人才好。戲弄修行人，等同戲弄自己，戲弄自己的歷代祖先，及纏身業靈，後果真的是不堪設想，應速速修懺悔法。
During this year’s Lunar New Year, after bestowing fortune and auspiciousness at the end of the Dinner session, a young man and a lady came up and expressed interest to learn the Dharma from me. Both of them are in the prime of their youth, and got to know of me through the Internet. The minor difference between them is their one-year age gap and the lady seems to have a better credibility than the young man. That day, when they told me of their interest, I asked both of them to go back, check their schedules, pick a free day in the week and get back to me. About one week later, only the young lady called me. The young man has long been put into the list of “missing persons”. Ha!
Act of An Immature Mind #1
I, Master Dai Hu, sincerely and wholeheartedly pays homage and give thanks to the main deity, Namo Maha Cundi Buddhadevi, of the Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple, located at Waterloo Street in Singapore. Even though I said that the young lady has a bit more credibility, she is still immature mentally. She heard from her mother that the divination at the Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple is very accurate. It happened that her mother wanted to pay a visit to the temple. So, the young lady followed her mother there, wanting to seek advice from Namo Maha Cundi Buddhadevi if she should learn the Dharma from Master Dai Hu. The result: she got an favourable divination lot.
It is an unprecedented honour for me to receive approval from Namo Cundi Buddhadevi. However, there is not a single thread of joy in me. The reason is simple. Learning the Dharma is the ultimate goal of all living beings. Is the young lady going to seek a divination lot from the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and the deities, when she cannot handle her challenges and wants to leave her Master? This shows the immaturity in both her emotions and intellect, as well as the disharmony between her soul and physical body. She is bound to transgress and commit the grave sin of betraying her Master! Not only do I not feel any happiness, I am fearful for her sake, therefore, I gently told her to put a hold on becoming my disciple.
Act of An Immature Mind #2
Somewhere in the second half of last year, a woman (I am referring to a mature lady) bought a tea set and phoned me to tell me that she would like to be my student and learn the Dharma. I was in panic after hearing that. I have known her for over 3 years, and had given her ample time. I have advised her, according to her birth chart, what she should be wearing, eating, drinking……, but she did not fully heed my words. Every time when I open the way for her to see me, she always fails to pen down precious and free advice from me. Actually, the severity of this hinges on her repeatedly making a fool out of a spiritual cultivator. Doing that is the same as making a fool of herself, her ancestors and karmic debtors. The consequences can be disastrous unless she repents in the shortest time possible.
