True Compassion真正的慈心
與其我們看著這些小動物,小畜靈,悲從中來,感情用事,是於事無補的。我們應該開開「金口」持誦七遍《阿彌陀佛往生短咒》,直接實際地幫助祝福它們,能夠在最短的時間內離開畜生道,而得去善道,慢慢地再走回人道,實習佛法,超生脫苦。
這樣才是真正的幫助它們,才是真正的有憐憫之心。
看著他們哭是沒有用的,這樣才是給它們真正最大的祝福和關愛。
它們是有佛性的,所以和我們人是一樣的,祇是它們過去世做得很不好,結果越變越小,就變成這樣的一種昆蟲類,又來不及閃避這些突如其來的腳踏車,代步工具,人類的迫害,而橫禍飛來,死於非命,死狀可憐。這是業障。
因此佛法的偉大之處,就是讓我們在最短的時間,能夠離開這些惡果的循環,得以超生脫苦,快樂自在。
When we see these little animals, getting all welled up and overcame by sorrow is not going to help the situation. We would do better, if we open up our mouths to recite the Short Mantra of Rebirth to Pureland 7 times.
The most practical and fastest way to help them is to pray that they can leave the animal realm in the shortest time possible, be gradually reborn in a better realm like the human realm, where they can learn the Dharma to be liberated from birth and suffering.
An act like this would be truly helping them and genuine empathy and love at its greatest.
Crying while looking at them serves no use.
Snails have Buddha nature, in that sense, they are the same as us humans. Unfortunately, they did really badly in their past lives, and the karmic retribution is that they are born smaller and smaller with each reincarnation, second only to insects.
It is their negative karma at play, that they could not evade the unexpected cyclist or motorist, and human persecution, and would die in an unnatural and violent manner, under such horrible circumstances.
Therefore, the noble thing about Buddhadharma is it allows us to leave the vicious cycle of disastrous consequences in the shortest time possible, rise above birth and suffering, and be eternally blissful and at ease.
